Swansea Valley Holiday Cottages received confirmation from Ofgem today that their wood chip heating system has been accredited under the Renewable Heat Incentive's 'Small Biomass' Tariff.
Brilliant Harvest Ltd's new 10.3 MWp Solar Park near Chichester, southern England has today been accredited by Ofgem under the Renewables Obligation for ROCs.
Quick Green Energy Limited, owner and operator of a renewable electricity generating station, appointed Equis Energy to deliver a new Fuel Measurement & Sampling (FMS) protocol for their liquid biofuel plant in Wiltshire. The plant, a WH Allen diesel engine, was originally commissioned to operate on virgin vegetable oil and has been been producing 500 kWe for the local electricity network since 2010. The new FMS accepted by Ofgem on 17 April 2014 means that Quick Green Energy can now add Used Cooking Oil (UCO) to its list of accredited liquid biofuels, thereby providing greater fuel supply security and opportunity to improve the financial performance of the plant.
